Love is in the air
Today we went to the Tulip Festival. It was a
long drive, but it's always worth it. I love going there... How could I not. That very place was where I started one of the best chapters in my life. I
remember the day so vividly. He asked to take a picture of me walking
through the flowers. Then when I turned around he was on one knee and said he
couldn't imagine life without me and asked me to marry him!
Our little one is on the move
Brody you have been doing the army crawl since you were 6 months, but today out of no were you just decided to get up on all fours and started jetting around all over the place!!! It's a whole new world to you, you LOVE being mobile!

Doing the Puyallup
On Sunday my friend Samantha and I took are little
ones to the fair. It was so much fun! We got to show them all the farm animals
and explore around the park. It was a long day, but definitely worth it! Can't
wait until next year when they can try out some of the rides!!!

* You started crawling and you are fast!
* I loved the way you look at me when I am talking to you, you face expresses so much interest in what I am saying!
* You are so silly! Lately every night when you sleep you end up on top of your blanket all lumped up, rather than under your blanket. :)
* You like to hold our hands so you can have some help balancing while you walk everywhere!
* You can pull yourself up on the furniture.
* You love to explore.
* You can now hold your whole body up body up! Lifted your stomach from the ground completely on all 4´s.
*You can completely sit up on your own for long periods of time playing with your toys. You have mastered balancing yourself when reaching around of things you want!
* You don't like to nap, as much lately, you like to roll over on your tummy and play when it's naptime!
* You sit up on your own.
* Loves the cell phone.
* Yaya and Gum-Gum gave you Mum-mums for the first time and they are now your new favorite food.
* Starting to really show you’re personally.
* You reach out your arm and kind of wine when you want mum-mum and if I open any food box you go crazy!
* New favorite food is plums.
* Can recognize familiar faces.
* We went on a play date with your cousins and you don't like it of anyone else cries. As soon as they do you think you need to too.
* Really liking tummy time. You can hold your self with your arms now and you like to kind of slither and pull yourself around with your arms.

* You tried sucking you thumb for first time.
* Dad gave you your first bottle to try.

* When the doctors wheeled you out of the room your eyes were wide open so you could see all your family waiting out the door to greet you!
* Mom and dad were so worry when you were first born I don't think we slept at all when we were at the hospital. We wanted to make sure we were awake the whole time so we could watch you. When we brought you home we slept you right next to us in our bed so we could be right next to you to protect you! Then we realized you were a tough boy and you weren't as fragile as we thought and the first night we slept you in your own crib you loved that just the same.

Little Bunny Bro Bro
We had a busy fun
filled Easter this year! I got to make Brody his first Easter basket, which was
so much fun. Considering he is not old enough to eat candy I filled the Easter
eggs with Mum-Mums. Brody loves himself some mum-mums. :) So in his little world
it was just as good as candy! He got spoiled for his first Easter as well, he
got a total of 4 Easter baskets stuffed full! He met the Easter bunny at church
and got to celebrate the day with both sets of grandparents and extended family!
After the long day was over and we got home, Blake and I tried to explain the
real meaning of Easter with him telling him the story of Jesus’ resurrection
before he went to bed. We said our prayers and thanked Jesus for sacrificing
his life and forgiving us for our sins.

Memory Lane
Now I can officially say I am a blogger! I knew I
wanted to start a blog once I started having kids. I love my family and have so
much pride for them, so what better to blog about then Blake, Brody and our
beautiful family in the making! I wanted to be able to have something for my
children to look back on and to keep me connected with my extended family all
over the world so they could keep in the loop with us and know what’s going on!
After a very busy past year with building our house and having Brody it took me
little bit longer to get this started then I wanted, but here it is! For all of
you that know me you know I am short, sweet and full of energy and that's
exactly what you'll get out of my blog. Short stories, but lots of sweet and
memorable pictures to keep it fun and exciting! So for my first blog I
thought I would start off with our most memorable moments of 2011.
